Abstract Français:
Le neuropaludisme est une des complications les
plus sévères de l’infection à Plasmodium
falciparum, ce protozoaire de la famille des
Plasmodium étant le seul à pouvoir entraîner une
atteinte cérébrale.
Cette observation décrit un syndrome frontal
post-neuropaludisme chez un adulte jeune vivant
en zone d’endémie palustre. Cette complication a
été rapportée surtout chez l’enfant et semble fort
rare chez l’adulte.

Abstract in English:
Cerebral malaria is one of the most serious
complications of Plasmodium falciparum
infection, this protozoa of the Plasmodium family
is the only known to induce cerebral malaria.
This case is about a frontal lobe syndrome post
cerebral malaria in a young man living in an
endemic malaria area. This complication is rare
and most common during childhood.
